ENG - “With a cast of nearly two dozen actors on stage who simultaneously dance, sing, and do feats of gymnastics, this play moves between slapstick entertainment and the deep tragedy that the death, embalming, and concealment of Evita’s remains entails. An incredible true story that manages to be fun, with entertaining staging that allows the audience to fully enjoy the contemporary choreography from Valeria Cossu.”
DC Theater Arts
“Valeria Cossu has created energetic choreography for the ensemble throughout. The dancers explode onto the stage time again, going from hot-and-happy Latin-dance numbers to stage fights simulating Argentine military roundup and abuse of its citizens, and from gliding tangos to contemporary hip-hop.”
BroadwayWorld
